{"id":510354,"date":"2026-06-05T16:45:03","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T20:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/government-freezes-prices-of-essential-fuels\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T16:45:03","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T20:45:03","slug":"government-freezes-prices-of-essential-fuels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/government-freezes-prices-of-essential-fuels\/","title":{"rendered":"Government freezes prices of essential fuels"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that the Dominican Government allocated RD$780.3 million in subsidies to keep the prices of the main fuels frozen, and ordered reductions in others for the week of June 6 to 12, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prices of premium and regular gasoline, as well as optimal and regular diesel, will remain unchanged, as will those of LPG and natural gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, there were price reductions of RD$5.90 for avtur, RD$6.40 for kerosene, RD$5.22 for fuel oil #6, and RD$7.72 for fuel oil #1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At current prices, the Government is subsidizing consumers with every gallon of fuel they purchase as follows: on LPG with RD$15.95, premium gasoline with RD$13.98, regular gasoline with RD$33.48, regular diesel with RD$48.89, and on optimal diesel with RD$52.95, in order not to transfer the full cost of these to the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subsidies that the Government has allocated to fuels so far this year exceed RD$18 billion, as part of the plan to mitigate the impact of the crisis in the Middle East on the pockets of the most vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the week of June 6 to 12, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs provides that fuels be sold at the following prices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Premium Gasoline will be sold at&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$335.10 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regular Gasoline&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$307.50 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regular Diesel&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$259.80 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; maintains its price.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Optimum Diesel&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$287.10 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avtur&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$271.12 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; down RD$5.90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kerosene&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$308.30 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; down RD$6.40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fuel Oil #6&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;RD$188.84 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; down RD$5.22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fuel Oil 1%S&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;RD$207.38 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; down RD$7.72.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; RD$137.20 per gallon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Natural Gas&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
