Three Central American presidents are among the leaders with the highest public approval in Latin America, according to the latest CB Global Data report published in June 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>The document, which covers 18 countries and more than 40,000 interviews, highlights the positioning<\/a> of Nayib Bukele<\/strong>, of El Salvador<\/strong>, and Laura Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, of Costa Rica<\/strong>, both placed on the podium of positive image in the continent, according to the data collected by the international consulting firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recent measurement by CB Global Data<\/strong>\u2014consulted by Infobae<\/em>\u2014shows that Nayib Bukele<\/strong> ranks first in presidential approval, reaching a 69.1%<\/strong> positive image among Salvadorans.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the report, the study was conducted between June 2 and June 7, 2026, and the sample for El Salvador included 2,181 people over 18 years of age, with a margin of error of 2.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakdown reveals that 42.1% consider Bukele’s administration to be \u201cvery good\u201d and 27% as \u201cgood,\u201d while only 27.6% hold an unfavorable opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey, conducted among 2,054 Costa Ricans, indicates that 38% rate Fern\u00e1ndez’s administration as \u201cvery good\u201d and 18.1% as \u201cgood\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also highlights an upward trend in the president’s image compared to the previous month, when approval stood at 52.7%. The margin of error reported for Costa Rica is 2.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The popularity podium is completed by Claudia Sheinbaum<\/strong>, president of Mexico<\/strong>, who reached a 65.5% positive image, while the fourth and fifth places correspond to Luis Abinader<\/strong> (Dominican Republic) and Santiago Pe\u00f1a<\/strong> (Paraguay), with 54.8% and 48.3%, respectively. The survey measures positive image by adding “very good” and “good” in 18 countries.
