They indicated that the situation keeps the residents in a state of alert, who claim to feel vulnerable in the face of the escalation of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the complainants, moments of great tension were experienced last Saturday night when two bombs were thrown, one tear gas and one sound bomb, which caused harm to several people, including patients with respiratory problems and other health conditions. They pointed out that more than ten people had to be taken to the community hospital to receive medical assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/nacionales\/denuncian-supuestas-golpizas\/\">Alleged beatings, stabbings, and torture against inmates at CCR Santiago reported<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, they stated that these clashes occur frequently and that the attacks between sectors are known by a large part of the community. They also reported that, despite having requested help from the 911 National Emergency and Security Attention System and the National Police, the patrol that was supposedly going to be sent never showed up at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faced with this situation, residents made an urgent call to the competent authorities to intervene and adopt measures that guarantee the safety and tranquility of the families of Barrio Arriba.
