Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 The radio program Despierta con La X<\/strong>, on the station X102.1 FM, managed to raise RD$1,600,000<\/strong> during a special solidarity event held this Tuesday, funds that will be donated to the St. Jude Foundation<\/strong>, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support to children with cancer and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative is part of the charitable activities linked to the X102 Padel Tournament 2026<\/strong>, an event organized by the station that will be held from June 25 to 28 at the The Grove Padel Club<\/strong> facilities. The main objective of the tournament is to raise funds to strengthen the assistance programs developed by the foundation for minors affected by the disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The figure reached was possible thanks to the massive response from the morning show’s listeners, who made financial contributions during the special broadcast. In just a few hours, the audience managed to surpass the proposed goal, demonstrating once again their commitment to social causes and the well-being of children facing cancer treatments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
