The absence of figures such as Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Bahrain’s Salwa Eid Naser makes Paulino the main candidate for victory in the 400-meter event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among her most important rivals are the Polish Natalia Bukowiecka, as well as the Chilean Martina Weil and the Cuban Roxana G\u00f3mez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of her preparation, Paulino competed on June 5th in Moscow, where she recorded a time of 49.89 seconds in the one-lap race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dominican representation in Doha will also feature the participation of sprinter Alexander Ogando, who will compete in the 200-meter dash with aspirations of fighting for the top spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ogando continues to consolidate himself as one of the leading figures in international sprinting and will seek to take advantage of the Qatari event to strengthen his preparation for the most important commitments of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
