Under the new rules, each participant will have <strong>20 swings in the first round<\/strong>, <strong>15 in the semifinals<\/strong>, and <strong>15 in the final<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the main modifications, the elimination of the clock stands out, an element that during the last decade accelerated the pace of the event, but also generated physical fatigue and reduced the analytical capacity of both batters and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new format, MLB seeks to reward efficiency, power, and pitch selection. Batters will be able to better manage their swings, reducing physical wear and improving the quality of each connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another important new feature is that, if a player hits a home run on their last swing of any round, they will be able to continue batting until they miss. This rule adds an extra component of excitement and could change the outcome of several rounds thanks to the momentum of a good offensive streak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, the bonus round and the bracket system are eliminated, reducing the complexity of the tournament and making it easier for fans to follow.
