North Santo Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 The National Police<\/strong> reported that investigations are well underway regarding the case of two minors who were found dead with signs of violence on the Los Casabes<\/strong> highway, in North Santo Domingo<\/strong>.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The institution’s spokesperson, Colonel Diego Pesqueira<\/strong>, explained that the case is being led by representatives of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of that jurisdiction and that, since the incident was reported last Tuesday night, police agents began the corresponding investigations to clarify what happened.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The victims were identified as \u00c1ngel Miguel Rosario de la Cruz<\/strong>, 16 years old, known as \u201cEl Chino<\/strong>\u201d, and Miguel \u00c1ngel Miguel<\/strong>, 17 years old.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Pesqueira indicated that at least six people have been interviewed by investigators in search of information that would allow them to determine the circumstances in which the event occurred and to find those responsible.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

\u201cThe investigations are well advanced and in the next few hours we will be offering more details<\/strong>\u201d, expressed the police spokesperson.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

According to the surveys carried out so far, including the analysis of surveillance cameras, the authorities have established that both teenagers arrived at the scene in the company of a person on a motorcycle.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

However, the authorities specified that they continue to expand the investigations to determine the motive for the crime and establish the exact causes of the event.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

When asked if the case could be related to a robbery or a criminal act, Pesqueira maintained that investigators are still working on identifying the motive and that, for the moment, it is not possible to offer further details so as not to affect the course of the investigation.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The National Police reiterated that it maintains an extensive investigative process in coordination with the Public Ministry and assured that it will continue to report on the progress of the case as new evidence is obtained.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
