Santiago<\/strong>.- Under strict security measures, those involved in the so-called Operation Onco14<\/strong> were transferred this Friday to the courtroom of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services of the Judicial District of Santiago<\/strong>, accused by the Public Ministry<\/strong> of being part of an alleged network that had diverted millions of pesos intended for the care of cancer patients at the Cibao Regional Oncology Institute<\/strong> (IORC).<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The defendants appear before the court for the hearing on the coercive measure requested by the prosecuting body, which maintains that the allegedly embezzled funds were intended for health programs and services for low-income cancer patients.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
