Ban\u00ed.<\/strong> Members of the Regional Intelligence Sub-directorate (DINTEL), in coordination with the Public Ministry and the support of the Preventive Police, executed four simultaneous raids in different sectors of the municipality of Ban\u00ed, Peravia province, as part of the actions aimed at confronting the illegal possession of firearms.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

During the operations, the authorities seized two pistols, a shotgun, a homemade firearm (chilena type), a bladed weapon, and various ammunition of different calibers, in addition to arresting one person linked to the events.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The first raid was carried out in the Villa Majega sector, at a residence linked to Guillermo Antonio D\u00edaz Puello, alias \u201cEl Negro,\u201d where a bayonet and two 7.65-millimeter rifle cartridges were seized.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

In a second intervention in the same sector, Hiron Antonio Guill\u00e9n was arrested after a homemade firearm, known as a “chilena,” along with a 12-millimeter caliber cartridge, was found in his residence.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

In a third residence raided in Villa Majega, owned by Nelson Manuel Moscat Binet, known as \u201cHijo\u201d, the authorities seized a 9-millimeter caliber pistol with its magazine, an additional magazine, 23 rounds of the same caliber, and a 12-millimeter caliber shotgun.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Meanwhile, in the El Sif\u00f3n sector of Mata Gorda, a residence linked to Ram\u00f3n Antonio Fulgencio Echevarr\u00eda, alias \u201cTuti,\u201d was raided, where another 9-millimeter caliber pistol with its magazine and five rounds were seized.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The National Police reported that the detainee and the seized evidence were referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The authorities highlighted that these operations are part of the permanent actions to combat the illegal possession of weapons and strengthen citizen security in the Peravia province.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
