London.- <\/strong>The British Meteorological Office (Met) declared a red alert for extreme heat this Monday, with temperatures that could reach 40 degrees Celsius, for Wednesday and Thursday in central and southern England and Wales.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The alert, the highest in a three-level system, will be in effect from 9:00 local time (08:00 GMT) on Wednesday until 21:00 (22:00 GMT) on Thursday.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

In this heat wave, temperatures are expected to exceed 37 degrees in the shade and reach 40 degrees in some places.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The warning implies that people should take measures in the face of extreme heat and companies must ensure the well-being of their employees due to the impact of the intense heat, while asking that vulnerable people, such as children and the elderly, be taken care of.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

According to the alert, people are asked to avoid traveling by bus and train, while flights may experience delays.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
