Santiago<\/strong>.- A voracious fire reduced to ashes this Monday afternoon the first level of the
Auto Parts store, Fausto N\u00fa\u00f1ez located on Hatuey Avenue, in the Los Ciruelitos sector of Santiago, causing millionaire losses and generating moments of tension among residents and merchants in the area.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The incident occurred around 5:00 in the afternoon and mobilized several units of the Santiago Fire Department, whose members managed to control the flames before they spread to nearby buildings.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Despite the magnitude of the fire, authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were reported, with damages limited to material losses.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The business owner reported that the economic damages exceed 10 million pesos, due to the destruction of merchandise, equipment, and other belongings that were inside the premises.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Witnesses narrated that they acted quickly upon noticing an explosion and the start of the fire. Marcos N\u00fa\u00f1ez explained that, after hearing the loud noise, they ran toward the establishment to try to help and facilitate access to the affected premises.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

For his part, Jos\u00e9 Alberto Mata recounted that, together with other people, he managed to open the business door and remove a vehicle that was near the affected area, preventing the situation from potentially worsening.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The fire caused great concern among the residents of the area and attracted dozens of onlookers who gathered around the establishment while emergency services carried out extinction efforts.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

So far, the causes that originated the fire are unknown. Authorities reported that an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances in which the incident occurred.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
