Santiago.<\/strong> \u2013 A large-scale operation against micro-trafficking carried out by agents of the National Drug Control Directorate<\/strong> (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry<\/strong> resulted in the arrest of 28 people and the seizure of more than 8.7 kilograms<\/strong> of various narcotic substances in several sectors of the Santiago province.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The interventions were carried out as part of the joint strategies to combat drug trafficking and distribution executed by the authorities in different parts of the country, especially in communities identified as high-incidence areas for micro-trafficking.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

During the operations, the acting units carried out raids and multiple simultaneous interventions in neighborhoods and sectors of the province, managing to dismantle several points of sale and distribution of controlled substances.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

More than 8.7 kilos of drugs seized<\/h3>n”\n\n“n

According to the preliminary report from the authorities, more than 8.7 kilograms of narcotics were seized during the operations, including alleged cocaine, marijuana, crack, and other illicit substances.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

In addition to the drugs, the agents seized scales, cash, communication equipment, and other items allegedly used for the distribution and commercialization of narcotics.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The evidence was sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) to determine the exact weight and composition of the seized substances.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The interventions were concentrated in different communities and sectors of Santiago identified by the authorities as operation points for networks dedicated to micro-trafficking.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
