Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 The digital newspaper De \u00daltimo Minuto<\/a><\/strong> celebrates its fifth anniversary this June 23rd, having consolidated itself as one of the main news platforms in the Dominican Republic and a benchmark for innovation within the country’s digital media ecosystem.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Founded in 2021 by entrepreneur Santiago Mat\u00edas<\/a> and journalist H\u00e9ctor Romero<\/a>, De \u00daltimo Minuto was born with the mission of offering timely, accessible information adapted to new ways of consuming news. Since then, the project has experienced sustained growth that has allowed it to expand beyond a website to become a multimedia platform with a presence on television, radio, social media, mobile applications, and new digital formats.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Over these five years, the media outlet has committed to constant innovation, incorporating new technologies, strengthening its multi-platform presence, and developing products aimed at an increasingly diverse and connected audience. Among its most recent advancements is the launch of its English version, an initiative that expands its reach to new international audiences.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The evolution of De \u00daltimo Minuto has also been marked by the expansion of its operations. In 2022, its modern facilities were inaugurated and De \u00daltimo Minuto TV<\/a> was launched, expanding the production of audiovisual content, talk shows, news segments, and special broadcasts.<\/p>n”\n\n\n

Currently, De \u00daltimo Minuto has a robust editorial and production structure that allows for daily coverage of major national and international events, maintaining constant growth in audience, interaction, and digital reach.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

On the occasion of this fifth anniversary, the media’s management reaffirmed its commitment to continue strengthening Dominican digital journalism through innovation, talent development, technological transformation, and the creation of quality content at the service of the citizenry.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
