Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>A woman <\/a>was sentenced to one year in prison for committing electoral crimes after allegedly voting more than once during the presidential and congressional elections of May 2024, while serving as a political delegate.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The sentence was imposed on Miscleidy F\u00e9liz Cuevas by a court in Barahona, after the Public Prosecutor’s Office reached an agreement through an abbreviated criminal procedure.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The one-year prison sentence was suspended under several conditions established by the court, so F\u00e9liz Cuevas must comply with the requirements imposed to avoid entering a penitentiary center.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
