Their weight is even more notable in the private commercial portfolio, where they represent 44.2% of the balance and account for 77% of the total commercial loans destined for the private sector for the same period analyzed.<\/p>n&#8221;\n\n&#8220;n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three main financial entities with the largest share in the credit portfolio for MSMEs are Banco Popular, Banco de Reservas, and Banco BHD, with a combined balance of RD$405,085 million as of April 2026, equivalent to 70.2% of the portfolio allocated to these companies.<\/p>n&#8221;\n\n&#8220;n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the share of foreign currencies in the MSME portfolio, they account for 27.1%, with a slight year-on-year reduction of 0.4%, in line with the decisions adopted by the Monetary Board.
