Santiago.- .<\/strong> The First Collegiate Court of the Judicial District of Santiago sentenced six men this Tuesday who were found guilty of the death of the child Gioser Luis Feliz Camilo, who died during an attempted robbery while traveling with his family along the Santiago North Beltway.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

The main defendant, Luis \u00c1ngel Vargas Brito<\/strong>, was sentenced to 30 years in prison<\/strong>, the maximum penalty, after being found guilty of criminal association, murder, attempted aggravated robbery, and attempted murder. He must serve the sentence at the Rafey-Hombres Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR).<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Likewise, Derlin Javier Mercado Mart\u00ednez, Tom\u00e1s Pe\u00f1a Moreno, C\u00e9sar Junior Ulloa Cuevas and Eli\u00e1n Mart\u00ednez S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> received sentences of 20 years of major imprisonment<\/strong> after being found guilty as co-authors of the acts.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Meanwhile, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Almonte Santana<\/strong> was sentenced to 15 years in prison<\/strong> for his involvement in the case.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

In the civil sphere, the court upheld the lawsuit filed by Anibelca de los \u00c1ngeles Camilo Marte<\/strong>, mother of the deceased minor, and jointly ordered the six defendants to pay RD$10 million<\/strong> as compensation for the damages caused.<\/p>n”\n\n“n

Furthermore, it declared the civil party constitution presented by Sergio Luis Feliz Mancebo<\/strong> and Mar\u00eda Elida Batista Rivas<\/strong> to be good and valid, establishing in their favor a symbolic compensation of one peso<\/a>.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
