Edesur Dominicana will invest RD$962 million (US$14,701,129) in Peravia through the Distribution Network Rehabilitation and Loss Reduction Program.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
The project, financed by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), will be developed in the BANP102 circuit and includes the construction of 72.19 kilometers of medium voltage (MV) networks and 22.79 kilometers of low voltage (LV) networks, as well as the installation of 735 distribution transformers and the erection of 2,557 power line poles.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
The interventions will include the commissioning of 2,670 LED luminaires in strategic areas, as a way to contribute to improving citizen security.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
In addition, 2,123 Concentrated Measurement Modules at Height (MCA) will be enabled, which feature technological security against potential fraudulent practices, and 806 micro-meters in distribution transformers to have a more efficient record of the energy served.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
A total of 18,703 supplies will be normalized through the initiative and, as part of the comprehensive strategy, remote monitoring and control of the supplied energy will be carried out, which will contribute to improving customer service and reducing technical and non-technical losses.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
More than 46,000 service users will benefit from the project, which will contribute to the social and economic progress of communities such as El Man\u00ed, La Colonia, El Fundo (Mirador Norte), Town Center (partial), El Invi, Fundaci\u00f3n de Peravia, La Saona, Los Barrancones, Las Laderas del Cucurucho, Brisa de Guazuma, among others.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
The scope and benefits of the program were made known to the locals during a meeting led by the General Manager of Edesur, Jos\u00e9 Luis Actis, and other company executives.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
During the activity, held at the facilities of the Peravia Provincial Government, the governor of that province, Angela Yadira B\u00e1ez, attended; the mayor of Matanzas, Ra\u00fal Antonio Batista Mord\u00e1n; the president of the Ban\u00ed Council of Councilors, Carolina D\u00edaz, representing Mayor Santo Ram\u00edrez, and representatives of other provincial authorities.<\/p>n”\n\n“n
