Cambita Garabitos.-<\/strong> With an estimated investment of RD$194 million pesos, the Dominican government, through the Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA), directed by Hecmilio Galv\u00e1n, began this Wednesday the construction of the \u201cSaving the Mountains\u201d Avocado Agroecological Park, a strategic project aimed at promoting sustainable development, agritourism, environmental conservation, and the strengthening of agricultural production in this municipality and the San Cristobal province.<\/p>n”\n\n“n Hecmilio Galv\u00e1n indicated that the initiative responds to President Luis Abinader’s vision of promoting territorial development with a participatory, sustainable, and inclusive approach, integrating communities, producers, and key stakeholders in the transformation of the Dominican countryside.<\/p>n”\n\n“n \u00b4\u00b4Cambita has high agro-productive potential, being the country’s main avocado producer, with more than 2,000 organized producers and representing approximately 35% of national production.
