Washington<\/strong>.- U.S. President Donald Trump hopes that Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, will donate SpaceX shares to the so-called \u2018Trump Accounts<\/strong>\u2019 set up so that parents can start a financial investment for their children, the benefits of which they will be able to withdraw themselves with tax advantages when they reach the age of majority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U.S. Department of the Treasury said today that companies can donate publicly traded stocks to the new investment accounts for children, known as ‘Trump Accounts<\/strong>‘ which are scheduled to launch next Saturday, U.S. Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 1.4 million such accounts will be eligible for a $1,000 federal seed capital, intended for children born between 2025 and 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump highlighted the contribution pledged by billionaires Michael and Susan Dell to provide $6.25 billion to offer 25 <\/a>million American children aged 10 or younger an incentive to open one of the child investment accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U.S. president acknowledged having had a “small dispute<\/strong>” with the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, but claimed to maintain a “very good relationship<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
