During this winning streak, the team has outscored their opponents by a wide margin of 52 runs to 15, solidifying their position at the top of the American League East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Left-hander Ian Seymour was one of the big stars of the night, delivering a brilliant six-inning start in which he allowed just three hits, one run, issued one walk, and struck out eight, tying his career high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Offensively, Cedric Mullins was decisive once again by hitting a two-run home run in the fifth inning, extending the Rays&#8217; lead to 5-1. Mullins is in a great rhythm, having hit a home run in three consecutive games and seven total since the beginning of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bottom of the lineup also contributed significantly. Chandler Simpson had three hits and stole his 20th base of the season, while several players contributed to a decisive three-run rally during the second inning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Defensively, Taylor Walls starred in one of the most spectacular plays of the game by making an over-the-shoulder catch in outfield territory, an action that energized his teammates and reaffirmed his reputation as one of the best infield defenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the end of Caminero&#8217;s streak, Tampa Bay made it clear that their current success is built on the depth of their roster, solid pitching, and high-level defense.
