SANTO DOMINGO<\/strong>.\u2013 Hope has knocked on the doors of the family of G\u00e9nesis Jasm\u00edn Calzado Javier once again, the 11-year-old girl suffering from Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. After De \u00daltimo Minuto<\/a><\/strong> made her case known and the urgent need for a medication valued at RD$8.7 million, the minor will finally be able to receive the treatment she needs to continue fighting for her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aid was made possible thanks to the support of the Banreservas Volunteers, the Plaza de la Salud Board of Trustees, the company Mercasid, and the contributions made by family members and other people who stood in solidarity with the cause, managing to gather the necessary resources to acquire the expensive medication that her mother had been seeking for months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, G\u00e9nesis is receiving the required vaccines and medical studies as part of the protocol prior to the administration of the medication. Once this phase is concluded, she will be admitted to receive the treatment, an essential step to advance toward the transplant she needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His mother, Kathernie Javier Rodr\u00edguez, expressed her gratitude for the support received and stated that the publication of the case was decisive in getting various institutions and citizens to join the cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
