Washington.- <\/strong>The autopsy that concluded that far-right activist Charlie Kirk died as a victim of a firearm homicide and a series of surveillance recordings that, according to the prosecution, place the accused Tyler Robinson on the university campus before, during, and after the shooting, focused<\/a> attention this Monday on the preliminary hearing in Utah that will determine if the case proceeds to trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the first day of the hearing, the prosecution presented the autopsy report as one of its key pieces of evidence, including the playback of the video of the deadly attack before the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judge Tony Graf did not issue any comments upon concluding the presentation of the graphic material and immediately thereafter admitted the recording as prosecution exhibit number eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, a police officer present on the day of the attack stated that the forensic examination determined that the official cause of Kirk’s death was homicide by firearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later on, the case began to focus directly on the defendant, when Officer David Hull identified Robinson in the courtroom as the person appearing in the images captured by security cameras near the crime scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key witness points to Robinson<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When asked by the prosecution if the man appearing in the recordings was Robinson, sitting at the defense table, Hull replied: “Yes, it is.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigator further stated that authorities gathered around 16 hours of camera footage from Utah Valley University that show, according to the indictment, Robinson or the gray Dodge Challenger he was allegedly driving on the day of the murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the agent’s testimony, Robinson went to the campus on four occasions on September 10: twice before the shooting, once during the attack, and once that same night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the presentation of the forensic evidence, the court ordered a 15-minute recess before continuing with the testimonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
