Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 Banco de Reservas<\/a> announced this Wednesday the addition of Dominican basketball players Jean Montero and Andr\u00e9s \u201cAndresito\u201d Feliz as the entity’s new ambassadors, in an initiative that seeks to strengthen its support for sports, promote national values, and tighten the relationship with the Dominican diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, the executive president of Banreservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, highlighted that both players represent the effort and dedication of Dominicans who have left the country in search of opportunities and who today hold the national flag high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey are the representation of what the Dominican diaspora means and the effort of the Dominicans who have had to leave the country. They hold the flag of the Dominican Republic high and now they will also carry the Banreservas flag,\u201d expressed Aguilera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The executive added that the entity will continue to support Dominicans who project a positive image of the country abroad and valued the support of President Luis Abinader for initiatives that promote national talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Andr\u00e9s Feliz expressed his gratitude for the support received from the financial institution and stated that this backing serves as motivation to continue his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very grateful for the support that Banco de Reservas provides us. For us, it means a lot to have that backing,\u201d stated the player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, Jean Montero valued Banreservas’ commitment to Dominican basketball and assured that having the entity’s support represents an important boost for the athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe thank the bank for backing us and supporting basketball. It is a pleasure for us to have an entity like Banreservas behind us and to know that we have that support,\u201d expressed Montero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
