Immediately after, George Springer also sent the ball out, further extending the visitors&#8217; lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The great figure of the match was right-hander <strong>Dylan Cease<\/strong>, who was just three outs away from throwing a no-hitter. The starter worked eight perfect innings in terms of hits allowed, but Heliot Ramos opened the ninth inning with a single to center field that put an end to the pitching gem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cease (6-4) was pulled after allowing that hit and received a standing ovation from the crowd in San Francisco.
