The approach was supported by the plaintiff, who also indicated that they received documents submitted by the defense whose content has not yet been reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the hearing concluded, Ger\u00f3nimo Encarnaci\u00f3n, the victim&#8217;s brother, expressed his dissatisfaction with another postponement of the proceedings and stated that at every stage, some situation arises that causes delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although he stated that he maintains his confidence in the justice system, he acknowledged that at times the processes do not move forward as the family expects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/nacionales\/aplazan-audiencia-medida-coercion\/\">Coercive measure hearing postponed for immigration inspector accused of demanding a RD$100,000 bribe<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the indictment filed by the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, the incident occurred on October 16, when Jim\u00e9nez Galv\u00e1n allegedly returned to the university campus to claim some documents that had been withheld from him the previous day, after parking his vehicle in an unauthorized area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case file states that the defendant arrived armed with a 12-gauge shotgun and fired at members of the university&#8217;s security team, causing the death of Encarnaci\u00f3n Pe\u00f1a and wounding another security guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the attack, authorities indicate that the accused attempted to escape, abandoned the weapon and a vehicle at one of the entrances to the premises, and left the scene by climbing a wall.
