According to a report by journalist Ken Rosenthal<\/strong>, of The Athletic<\/em>, the Marlins plan to retain Alcantara and strategically reinforce their roster to strengthen their aspirations of advancing to the postseason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miami is going through one of its best moments of the season by recording a mark of 16 wins and four losses in its last 20 games<\/strong>, equaling the best 20-game streak in franchise history. With a 52-42<\/strong> record, the team currently occupies the third Wild Card spot in the National League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alc\u00e1ntara has been a fundamental piece in that resurgence.
