The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that there will be price reductions of RD$3.00 pesos for regular gasoline and diesel, and RD$2.00 for LPG, for the week of July 11 to 17, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this reduction, for the second consecutive week, regular gasoline and regular diesel have accumulated a decrease of RD$8.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This provision is aimed at reducing inflationary pressure on the pockets of the most vulnerable social classes, as regular fuels and LPG are the most used by cargo and passenger transport, as well as by Dominican households. Premium gasoline, optimum diesel, and natural gas remain unchanged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For these price reductions, the government has allocated a subsidy of RD$523.7 million for this week, having already allocated RD$21.323 billion so far this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conflict between the United States and Iran entered a new phase of escalation this week. International markets responded immediately: the price of a barrel rose more than 5% in a single day. Likewise, refined products in the last week have seen an average increase of between 2.5 and 3.4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium Gasoline will be sold at RD$338.10 per gallon, maintaining its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
