According to initial reports, the young woman was traveling on a scooter when she was struck by an all-terrain vehicle (buggy), dying at the scene due to the injuries sustained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preliminary information indicates that the driver of the buggy is a National Police private who was off duty. After the accident, he allegedly fled the scene and left the vehicle in a rural area, where it was subsequently located by agents of the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (Digesett).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Versions obtained at the scene indicate that the officer had used the buggy, owned by a relative, to take a ride when the incident occurred.
