This process was accompanied by a historic national expansion that took the state academy from 18 locations to having a presence in all 31 provinces, the <strong>National District<\/strong>, and nearly 10 municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding infrastructure, new university campuses were delivered in <strong>Ban\u00ed<\/strong>, <strong>Azua<\/strong>, <strong>Hato Mayor<\/strong>, <strong>Cotu\u00ed<\/strong>, and <strong>Neiba<\/strong>, while the inauguration of <strong>Santiago Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> is projected. In addition, improvements were carried out at the central headquarters, including the expansion of buildings, renovation of dental clinics, construction of a student plaza, rehabilitation of iconic areas such as the <strong>Aula Magna<\/strong> and the <strong>Tony Barreiro Sports Center<\/strong>, as well as the adaptation of medical spaces in Hato Nuevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend reading: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The administration also promoted academic innovation with the opening of the Santa Cruz de El Seibo Hotel School, the first internship center for hospitality and tourism programs. Likewise, pre-university education was strengthened with the growth of experimental high schools, which increased from one to 16 in different locations across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the technological field, 32 smart classrooms were installed and a digital transformation was developed that modernized the postgraduate platform, optimized payment systems, and promoted the UASD Connected project through the delivery of tablets at various campuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another significant advancement was the opening of the Multiservice Center, which centralizes academic and administrative processes. Added to this is the creation of new productive areas, such as the Bakery School, a pizzeria, and the water processing plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In labor matters, the administration implemented the 14th-month salary for the first time consecutively for three years, along with salary increases of over 50%, improvements in per diems, and facilities through vehicle fairs. Job stability was also promoted with the transition of teachers and administrative staff to career status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the academic field, more than 2,700 teachers were trained in a competency-based approach, an equal number of technicians in virtual environments, and nearly 4,000 staff members participated in training programs. This momentum was reflected in the strengthening of research, with more than 300 scientific articles published and more than 200 active projects, in addition to leadership in FONDOCYT funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International projection also marked the administration, with participation in global forums, the pro tempore presidency of CSUCA, and the celebration of the World Law Congress at the UASD, with the presence of the King of Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the period, the academy graduated more than 50 thousand professionals through more agile and organized ceremonies.
