The initiative includes the use of didactic guides, continuous assessments, and permanent support for teachers, with the purpose of raising student learning levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is supported by the Ministry of Education (MINERD), the IDB, and Instituto 512, and aims to generate evidence that contributes to the strengthening of educational policies and to replicating successful practices in the country based on the science of reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/nacionales\/resultados-pruebas-nacionales2026\/\">Minerd will publish the 2026 National Test results before July 24<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by Carolina Troncoso and Sandra Espaillat, coordinators of Instituto 512; Dar\u00edo Gil, project manager; Cilia Quesada Segura, head of the First Cycle Division of the Primary Level at MINERD; and Yessica Wildalis P\u00e9rez, head of the Pedagogical Guidance Division of the Early Childhood Education Directorate at MINERD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, it was highlighted that the program promotes the pedagogical use of data to track student progress in essential competencies such as decoding, fluency, and reading comprehension from the early years of schooling, thus strengthening teaching and learning processes in the classrooms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Azua.\u2013 The Regional Directorate of Education 03, in Azua, held a socialization meeting with representatives of the ATAL program (Let&#8217;s All Learn to Read), a strategy based on scientific evidence that seeks to strengthen initial literacy in the Dominican Republic through effective methodologies for teaching reading and writing.
