Washington.- <\/strong>U.S. President Donald Trump <\/a>announced this Wednesday that Iran allowed the departure from the country of a U.S. citizen who, he stated, was “unjustly” detained in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a message posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump thanked what he described as a “gesture of goodwill” from Iran and noted that the United States celebrates that the citizen has been able to leave the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president did not identify the woman, nor did he offer details about the circumstances of her detention or the diplomatic efforts that allowed for her release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
