Exports of precious metals, stones, and jewelry items total approximately US$1,065.4 million to that destination, representing an absolute variation of US$806.701 million compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the United States remains the main trading partner in June 2026, with exports of US$683.5 million and a year-on-year growth of 8.2%. It was followed by Canada, with US$263.9 million and an increase of 211.1%, and Haiti, with US$115.9 million and a growth of 11.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exports continue to exhibit significant dynamism and geographic diversification, as 80 countries recorded year-on-year increases in Dominican exports. In terms of absolute growth, the following stand out: Canada, with an additional US$179.1 million; Switzerland, with US$75.2 million, both driven mainly by the increase in raw gold exports; the United States, with US$52.0 million; and Haiti, with US$12.3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the main products exported during June, raw gold stood out, with a value of US$341.7 million and a year-on-year growth of 84.2%; medical instruments and appliances, with US$113.8 million and an increase of 5.9%; electrical circuit breakers, with US$89.3 million and a growth of 17.6%; and cigars, whose exports reached US$88.5 million, for a year-on-year increase of 9.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, more than 700 tariff lines showed growth during the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the most dynamic products, raw gold stood out with an additional US$156.2 million; tobacco, wholly or partly stemmed, with US$18.3 million; orthopedic appliances and articles, with US$15.5 million; cane sugar, with US$14.7 million; and electrical circuit breakers, with US$13.4 million.
