San Crist\u00f3bal. – <\/strong>Minister of Culture, Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo, led an extensive cultural program over the weekend in the province of San Crist\u00f3bal, which included two editions of \u201cTarde de Parque\u201d (Park Afternoon) and the presentation of the artistic show \u201cCarmes\u00ed\u201d (Crimson), performed by the National Contemporary Dance Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programming developed on Saturday and Sunday brought together national and municipal authorities, artists, cultural managers, and hundreds of citizens in an initiative aimed at bringing artistic expressions closer to communities and strengthening access to culture in public spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artistic gala held on Saturday at the Pablo Claudio Hall of the San Crist\u00f3bal School of Fine Arts was attended by Mayor Nelson de la Rosa; the Vice Minister of Creativity and Artistic Training, Amaury S\u00e1nchez; the General Director of Fine Arts, Marianela Sallent, and the Director of the School of Fine Arts, Natalie Batista, among other personalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the activity, the show \u201cCarmes\u00ed\u201d was presented, a proposal by the National Contemporary Dance Company, under the general direction of Edmundo Poy, whose choreography \u201cWhen the sky remembers\u201d was created by Brodie Rachelle Masse and Darlyn P\u00e9rez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The work explored, through contemporary dance, the emotional cycles of human beings and their parallelism with nature, showing that feelings such as anger, grief, calm, and joy evolve, heal, and remain in memory, just as the sky preserves the memory of every storm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cTarde de Parque\u201d weekend event began last Saturday at the Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n Central Park, where Minister Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo and Mayor Nelson de la Rosa led the protocol ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audience enjoyed performances by the Mayor’s Office Music Band, the Folkloric Ballet of the Nigua House of Culture, the Tr\u00e9bol Youth Orchestra, and the Folkloric Ballet of the Cristo Rey House of Culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Experimental Percussion Group of the Ministry of Culture also participated, together with an exhibition and sale of handicrafts made by local<\/a> creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activities concluded on Sunday in the municipality of Yaguate, with a second \u201cPark Afternoon,\u201d held at Juan Pablo Duarte Park, where Minister Salcedo was accompanied by Mayor Jos\u00e9 Oviedo; the Vice Minister of Creativity and Artistic Training, Amaury S\u00e1nchez; Vice Mayor Aurora Valdez, local authorities, cultural managers, and education representatives from this district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The artistic programming included performances by the Mayor’s Office Music Band, the T3 Cultural Center Music Band, directed by maestro Deyson Marmolejos; contemporary dance, music, and hip hop groups from Carril de Haina, experimental percussion, and an artisanal exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cTarde de Parque\u201d (Afternoon at the Park) initiative is part of the cultural decentralization policy promoted by the administration of Minister Roberto \u00c1ngel Salcedo, with the purpose of bringing the artistic and cultural offerings of the Ministry of Culture to municipalities and communities across the country, promoting citizen participation, local talent, and democratic access to cultural expressions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
