Washington.-<\/strong> The President of the United States, Donald Trump,<\/a> stated this Wednesday that Iran is not yet “ready” to close a nuclear deal to end the war, given that, as he said, every time a deal is reached, the Islamic Republic ends up backing out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They are being hit very hard and they want to make a deal. But I say they are not ready to make a deal because every time they make one, they want to change it and all that. They are not ready. They will be ready very soon,” he noted at a rally in Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump arrived in the southern state after participating in a ceremony at Dover Air Force Base, in the state of Delaware, to receive with honors the bodies of the four U.S. service members who died last week in Iranian attacks in Jordan and Iraq, the first casualties since the ceasefire was broken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump says Iran will pay “dearly” for the death of Americans<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before the ritual, Trump assured the press that the Islamic Republic will pay “dearly” for the death of U.S. personnel, who now total 18 since the United States and Israel launched the offensive against Iran on February 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a ceasefire, unblock the Strait of Hormuz, and provide space for negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, but the truce was broken and both countries have been exchanging crossfire for two weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
