{"id":517032,"date":"2026-07-22T22:50:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T02:50:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/two-young-people-die-in-a-traffic-accident-on-the-el-seibo-higuey-highway\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T22:50:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T02:50:20","slug":"two-young-people-die-in-a-traffic-accident-on-the-el-seibo-higuey-highway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/two-young-people-die-in-a-traffic-accident-on-the-el-seibo-higuey-highway\/","title":{"rendered":"Two young people die in a traffic accident on the El Seibo-Hig\u00fcey highway"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By Manuel Peralta<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El Seibo.<\/strong>\u2013 Two young people lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred on the <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"674892\"><strong>El Seibo-Hig\u00fcey<\/strong><\/a> highway, near the Pav\u00f3n junction, an event that has caused consternation among the residents of the <strong>La Higuera<\/strong> community, Santa Luc\u00eda municipal district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victims were identified as <strong>Francisca G\u00e1lvez Vicente<\/strong>, known as <strong>&#8220;Raquel&#8221;<\/strong>, 32, and <strong>Willian Rosario<\/strong>, 25, both residents of the aforementioned community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to preliminary reports, the accident occurred following a collision between a red <strong>Nissan Sentra<\/strong> car and the motorcycle on which the young people were traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a consequence of the impact, Raquel died at the scene, while Willian Rosario was assisted by a unit of the <strong>9-1-1<\/strong> National Emergency and Security Attention System and transported to the <strong>Dr. Te\u00f3filo Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> Hospital, where he later died while receiving medical attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agents from the <strong>General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (Digesett)<\/strong>, members of the <strong>National Police<\/strong>, representatives of the <strong>Public Ministry<\/strong>, and the medical examiner, who performed the removal of the woman&#8217;s body, arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/nacionales\/dos-hombres-mueren-en-accidentea\/\">Two men die in accident between motorcycle and car in Azua<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vehicles involved were impounded for the corresponding purposes, while authorities continue the investigations to establish the circumstances under which the accident occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far, there has been no official report regarding the situation of the driver of the car involved in the collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tragedy has caused deep sorrow among family members, friends, and residents of <strong>La Higuera<\/strong>, who mourn the loss of both young people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Manuel Peralta El Seibo.\u2013 Two young people lost their lives in a traffic accident that occurred on the El Seibo-Hig\u00fcey highway, near the Pav\u00f3n junction, an event that has caused consternation among the residents of the La Higuera community, Santa Luc\u00eda municipal district.
