During that journey, the team filmed in Santo Domingo, La Romana, waterfalls and caves near Monte Plata, and the beaches of Las Terrenas, in the north of the island.

“We filmed for four weeks in the Dominican Republic and traveled across the country in search of the best locations. We were in Santo Domingo, in the east in La Romana, at waterfalls and caves near Monte Plata, and then on the paradisiacal beaches in Las Terrenas, in the north of the island. Then, we finished filming in the last week in Bogotá,” said the producer in statements reported by PRODU.

The distribution of work also followed a defined logic. Colombia provided the direction, the script, the main cast, and the cinematography, while the technical team for the filming carried out in the Dominican Republic was integrated with local professionals in wardrobe, makeup, and other areas of production.

The co-production shared costs and relied on the film laws of both countries

Ramírez maintained that the project functioned as an effective co-production between partners from both markets. “It was a very real co-production.
