Fred Marsh, 24, an officer with the Rogers Police Department, was enjoying the outing with his fianc\u00e9e and friends when she began struggling to stay afloat. Marsh jumped into the water to help her but was swept away by the current.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Emergency crews launched a search operation, and his body was recovered the following day. Authorities said Marsh died after successfully saving his fianc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
