Santo Domingo Este.\u2013<\/strong> The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeste)<\/a> reported that it has successfully completed the electrical infrastructure strengthening works at the Athletes’ Village for the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, located in the vicinity of Ciudad Juan Bosch, with the aim of guaranteeing stable service during the celebration of the sporting event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The distributor explained that it enabled an exclusive circuit identified as EBRI08 and conditioned the EBRI01 circuit to operate as a backup, thereby strengthening the power supply intended for athletes, coaches, and organizing staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edeeste indicated that these actions are part of its commitment to the modernization of the distribution network and the support of one of the main sporting events that the Dominican Republic will host, ensuring a reliable service for the facilities that will receive the participating delegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, the company reported that it executed works to improve the operational capacity of the network in Ciudad Juan Bosch, allowing for a better distribution of energy demand and optimizing the functioning of existing circuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enabling the EBRI08 as an exclusive feeder for the Athletes’ Village will ensure the continuity of electrical service in the complex, while the EBRI01 will function as a backup for potential eventualities, complying with the security requirements established for an infrastructure of this importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
