{"id":517648,"date":"2026-07-25T12:31:38","date_gmt":"2026-07-25T16:31:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/bellas-artes-highlights-its-companies-at-the-opening-of-the-santo-domingo-2026-central-american-and-caribbean-games\/"},"modified":"2026-07-25T12:31:38","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T16:31:38","slug":"bellas-artes-highlights-its-companies-at-the-opening-of-the-santo-domingo-2026-central-american-and-caribbean-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/bellas-artes-highlights-its-companies-at-the-opening-of-the-santo-domingo-2026-central-american-and-caribbean-games\/","title":{"rendered":"Bellas Artes highlights its companies at the opening of the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Santo Domingo.<\/strong>\u2013 The main artistic companies of the <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"674892\">General Directorate of Fine Arts (DGBA)<\/a> of the Ministry of Culture participated in the opening ceremony of the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026, where, together with more than 900 Dominican artists, they brought a display of national identity, music, and dance to the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem in sign language, an emotional segment by the Contemporary Dance Company, whose members were trained by teacher Sonia Encarnaci\u00f3n, under the choreography of Daime del Toro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inclusion, one of the highlights of this edition of the Games, was combined with the participation of the National Symphony Orchestra and the National Dominican Choir, conducted by maestro Jos\u00e9 Antonio Molina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The show also highlighted the Dominican cultural richness through a choreographic proposal directed by Pablo P\u00e9rez, director of the National Ballet and responsible for the general choreographic direction of the event, together with a team of dance professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On stage were the National Ballet, the National Folkloric Ballet, the Contemporary Dance Company, the Dominican Traveling Theater, and students from the boys&#8217;
