{"id":518033,"date":"2026-07-27T13:54:22","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T17:54:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/reformulated-budget-increases-appropriations-for-6-ministries-and-the-national-treasury\/"},"modified":"2026-07-27T13:54:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T17:54:22","slug":"reformulated-budget-increases-appropriations-for-6-ministries-and-the-national-treasury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/reformulated-budget-increases-appropriations-for-6-ministries-and-the-national-treasury\/","title":{"rendered":"Reformulated budget increases appropriations for 6 ministries and the National Treasury"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The modification to the 2026 General State Budget, better known as the Reformulated Budget, increases expenditure appropriations by more than RD$40 billion for 7 strategic ministries and the National Treasury to meet the financial obligations of the Dominican State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The largest increase in appropriations is received by the National Treasury Obligations Administration, with RD$20.5 billion more, so that the State can efficiently meet all its financial obligations with multilateral organizations and ensure the proper management of debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another significant increase is received by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, with RD$10.165 billion more, for the advancement and completion of important infrastructure works nationwide.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Likewise, the Ministry of Agriculture will have another RD$3.004 billion available to continue with programs for the promotion of agriculture, farm-to-market roads, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Screenshot-2026-07-27-134910.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-692809\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (RD$3.792 billion), the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (RD$2.4 billion), the Ministry of Finance and Economy (RD$925 million), and the Ministry of Justice (RD$191 million) also receive increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government explained that the Reformulated Budget responds to new needs and changes in the country&#8217;s economic conditions associated with international market volatility, trade fluctuations, supply chains, and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also due to the entry into force of Law No. 30-26, on Pro-Economic Growth Measures, Fiscal Simplification and Mitigation of the International Crisis, which seeks to strengthen tax collection through administrative simplification and the expansion of tax bases.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The modification to the 2026 General State Budget, better known as the Reformulated Budget, increases expenditure appropriations by more than RD$40 billion for 7 strategic ministries and the National Treasury to meet the financial obligations of the Dominican State.
