Michael B. Jordan made an unexpected appearance on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” on Monday, joining the film’s cast and a host of Hollywood stars ahead of its theatrical release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although Jordan is not part of the movie’s cast, the “Creed” and “Black Panther” star attended the event at the Dolby Theatre, where he posed for photographers. His surprise appearance quickly became one of the evening’s most talked-about moments among fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The premiere was led by Tom Holland, who reprises his role as Peter Parker in the fourth installment of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man franchise. He was joined by cast members Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal, Jacob Batalon, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas, Marvin Jones III and Eman Esfandi. Director Destin Daniel Cretton, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, producer Amy Pascal and casting director Sarah Finn also attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the film’s official synopsis, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” follows Peter Parker after the world has forgotten his identity. As he continues fighting crime full time as Spider-Man, he struggles to move forward while watching his closest friends live on without remembering him. He is eventually forced to confront a mysterious villain “no one can even see,” leading him toward a transformation that may be the city’s only hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the film’s biggest mysteries remains the role of actress Sadie Sink, whose character has not been revealed by Marvel Studios or Sony Pictures.
