A former JPMorgan employee has expanded a federal lawsuit against the bank and his former supervisor, adding new allegations of sexual abuse, racial harassment and anonymous threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to court filings in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, former banker Chirayu Rana amended a lawsuit he initially filed in April against JPMorgan and his former supervisor, Lorna Hajdini. The updated complaint includes 21 claims and contains additional messages, emails, photographs and a sworn statement from a witness. JPMorgan and Hajdini have denied the allegations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rana alleges that after Hajdini became his supervisor in 2024, she manipulated and isolated him, using her authority over his work to coerce him into unwanted sexual encounters. He also claims she secretly gave him a substance intended to enhance sexual performance without his knowledge or consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The amended complaint also includes a sworn statement from a friend who said he witnessed an incident in Manhattan in September 2024. According to the filing, the witness heard Rana repeatedly tell Hajdini, “No, this isn’t right,” and “Please stop,” before she left the apartment. The friend said Rana appeared shaken after the encounter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, Rana, who is of Nepali origin, alleges he was subjected to racist insults and anonymous messages referring to him as a “brown boy,” telling him to return to his country and threatening to report his family to U.S. immigration authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lawsuit remains pending in federal court. JPMorgan and Hajdini continue to deny the allegations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
