A new BBC documentary features allegations of sexual misconduct against actor and musician Jared Leto from 10 women, including four who say they were teenagers when they met the Oscar winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The documentary, Jared Leto: The Dark Secret of Hollywood<\/em>, includes allegations spanning from 2002 to 2016. Four women speak publicly for the first time, alleging incidents that they say occurred when they were between 16 and 19 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Among the allegations, one woman claims Leto sexually assaulted her in a motel bathroom after she traveled to meet him at age 17. Another alleges he threatened her with sexual assault when she was 19. A third woman claims she had a sexual relationship with Leto when she was 17 in California, where the age of consent is 18. A fourth alleges she was groomed from the age of 16 through sexually explicit calls and messages before being encouraged to meet the actor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the BBC, its investigation lasted several months and included interviews with the women, as well as people who knew them at the time. The documentary also includes accounts from six other women who describe separate encounters with Leto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The BBC reported that Leto did not respond to repeated requests for comment before the documentary aired.
