Santo Domingo.\u2013<\/strong> President Luis Abinader <\/a>will carry out a work agenda this Thursday in the provinces of La Vega, La Altagracia, and La Romana, which includes the inauguration of public works, participation in development and commemorative activities, as well as the promotion of drinking water projects for the benefit of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president will participate in the opening of Expo Vega Real 2026, in La Vega; he will hand over a Dominican Republic Navy detachment in Bayah\u00edbe, and will inaugurate a new ITLA center, a sports complex, will break ground for drinking water projects, and will attend the commemorative events for the 125th anniversary of the founding of the municipality of La Romana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day will begin at 10:30 in the morning with the president’s participation in the inaugural ceremony of Expo Vega Real 2026, which will be held at the La Vega Country Club, one of the main venues for promoting production, commerce, and economic development in the Northern region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bayah\u00edbe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the president will travel to the municipal district of Bayah\u00edbe, in the San Rafael del Yuma municipality, where he will lead the inauguration of a modern complex and detachment of the Dominican Republic Navy, as part of the strengthening of infrastructure intended for the security and protection of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Romana<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ruler will continue his work agenda in the province of La Romana, where he will participate in the commemorative acts for the 125th anniversary of the founding of the head municipality, a celebration that highlights the history, development, and contribution of this region to the economic, tourism, and cultural growth of the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, the Head of State will inaugurate the new building of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA) in La Romana, a project that will expand technological training opportunities for young people in the province and the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
