{"id":518777,"date":"2026-07-30T13:40:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T17:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/map-will-audit-public-payrolls-to-detect-distortions-and-organize-state-records\/"},"modified":"2026-07-30T13:40:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T17:40:18","slug":"map-will-audit-public-payrolls-to-detect-distortions-and-organize-state-records","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/map-will-audit-public-payrolls-to-detect-distortions-and-organize-state-records\/","title":{"rendered":"MAP will audit public payrolls to detect distortions and organize State records"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Santo Domingo.\u2013<\/strong> The Ministry of Public Administration<a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"674892\"> (MAP)<\/a> has initiated an in-person audit process of state payrolls with the objective of verifying the actual number of public servants and correcting existing discrepancies in the records of government institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Minister of Public Administration, Sigmund Freund, explained that the State currently does not have a consolidated figure of its employees due to the lack of connection between the databases of the different public entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a meeting with editors and media executives, Freund indicated that the Social Security Treasury registers around <strong>700 thousand public sector contributors<\/strong>, although he clarified that this amount does not represent the total number of state workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The official estimated that the actual number of public employees would be below <strong>780 thousand<\/strong>, but noted that it will be the verification process, in which three auditing firms are participating, that will allow the exact number to be established.
