The minor, identified as Disney Esther Espinal Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, is receiving medical attention at the Santiago Ap\u00f3stol Medical Center<\/strong>, where, as explained by her mother, specialists determined that she needs a surgical intervention to avoid possible complications that could affect the mobility of her arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the woman, the procedure requires an approximate investment of RD$150,000<\/strong>, an amount that will be allocated to the purchase of surgical materials, the use of the clinic, and the services of the medical staff who will participate in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mother indicated that the attending physician will waive their professional fees, so the requested money corresponds solely to the procedure costs and medical supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, he denounced that Seguro Futuro<\/strong> rejected coverage for the surgery, alleging that the health plan contracted is of a basic nature and does not include that type of intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
