Santiago Rodr\u00edguez.<\/strong>– The Collegiate Court of the Judicial District of Santiago Rodr\u00edguez sentenced the former provincial director of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM), Carlos Juan Rodr\u00edguez Garc\u00eda, to 30 years in prison after finding him guilty of the homicide of a married couple and causing serious injuries to two other people during an incident that occurred in June 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the ruling, Rodr\u00edguez Garc\u00eda was found responsible for causing the shooting deaths of Juan de los Santos Peralta Barrios<\/strong> and Marielis Anabel Vargas Villalona<\/strong>, in addition to seriously wounding Erlin Alberto G\u00f3mez Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> and Eduar de Jes\u00fas Espinal Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crime occurred on June 7, 2022<\/strong>, at a food establishment located at a gas station in the municipality of Villa Los Alm\u00e1cigos<\/strong>, in the Santiago Rodr\u00edguez province, where a violent incident was recorded that shocked the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision was adopted by the Collegiate Court, presided over by Judge Dayanara Peralta<\/strong> and composed of judges Risel Pe\u00f1a Morel<\/strong> and Norma Zapata<\/strong>, who accepted the evidence presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and handed down the maximum sentence requested against the defendant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
