As a Coast Guard patrol approached, one person who remained aboard allegedly threw several packages containing cash into the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People on the beach recovered coolers and plastic-wrapped bundles filled with banknotes before handing them over to the Coast Guard.
