Santo Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 A few days before August 16th, citizens consulted in Greater Santo Domingo believe that President Luis Abinader should evaluate his cabinet and make changes to improve government management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a survey conducted by this media outlet, five out of six interviewees requested modifications, while none considered that everything is going well. Education, electricity, security, the Ministry of Women, traffic, and migration were among the main concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juli\u00e1n Tapia went further and proposed names for some positions. He considered that Guido G\u00f3mez Mazara could take on Interior and Police, because, in his view, \u201che would make a good minister there, he has a good attitude and is a man who is respected<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also questioned the heads of Defense and Agriculture, considering that one is \u201cvery weak<\/strong>\u201d and the other \u201cis not heard from<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Lucrecia Mart\u00ednez maintained that the president should take advantage of August 16th to make changes. \u201cHe has to shake the tree as Balaguer used to say,\u201d she stated, while questioning migration policies, Public Works, and the areas of education and protection of women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mart\u00ednez also launched a direct criticism of the perception that, according to her, exists from the Government regarding the national situation: \u201cThe country is not as well off as he believes it to be<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criticism also reached INTRANT. Carlos Moreno considered that \u201cthere has been no progress, we are the same, everything is the same,\u201d when referring to traffic. In addition, he expressed concern about femicides and reported that his community had been without electricity for several days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most forceful response came from Mileyda Encarnaci\u00f3n, who, when asked which officials should leave, replied: \u201cTake them all out, none of them are useful, they are all bad<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other citizens took a more moderate position and asked the president to make the necessary changes to guarantee \u201cprogress, work, security, health and education\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the survey, Education was the most mentioned area, with four references, followed by electric energy and the Ministry of Women, with three each. Transit and migration received two mentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
