{"id":519772,"date":"2026-08-05T19:59:51","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T23:59:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/edesur-installs-replaces-and-standardizes-nearly-10000-streetlights-in-12-districts\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T19:59:51","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T23:59:51","slug":"edesur-installs-replaces-and-standardizes-nearly-10000-streetlights-in-12-districts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/edesur-installs-replaces-and-standardizes-nearly-10000-streetlights-in-12-districts\/","title":{"rendered":"Edesur installs, replaces, and standardizes nearly 10,000 streetlights in 12 districts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Santo Domingo.<\/strong>&#8211; Within the framework of an <strong>expansion and modernization<\/strong> program for the public lighting system, <strong>Edesur Dominicana<\/strong> has installed, replaced, and standardized nearly <strong>10,000 luminaires<\/strong> in 12 districts within its concession area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work has been carried out <strong>since last March<\/strong> in Azua, San Crist\u00f3bal, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Barahona, San Juan, Peravia, Bahoruco, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Independencia, Pedernales, Santo Domingo, and the National District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the initiative, <strong>6,022<\/strong> luminaires have been standardized, <strong>3,506<\/strong> replaced, and <strong>363 new lamps<\/strong> installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Field operations are carried out with the support of municipal authorities and are intended to <strong>update the inventory<\/strong> of streetlights that are on and off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These interventions allow the distributor to advance in updating its database with georeferenced information on each installed lamp, laying the foundations for <strong>more efficient and sustainable<\/strong> management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this program, <strong>Edesur<\/strong> optimizes the public lighting service by extending the useful life of the luminaires, <strong>reducing their energy consumption<\/strong>, and increasing <strong>road safety<\/strong>, which contributes to reducing criminal acts in its concession area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santo Domingo.&#8211; Within the framework of an expansion and modernization program for the public lighting system, Edesur Dominicana has installed, replaced, and standardized nearly 10,000 luminaires in 12 districts within its concession area.
